Nothing ruins the fun out of a vacation to the big city like long lines, crowded sidewalks, and restaurants so congested you couldn’t hear yourself talking. Instead of planning a trip from a crowded city to another, why not try to escape the city instead? There are so many good reasons why you should try to go to an adventure escapade.
1. It’s good for your mind
Naturally, time strengthens our mental processing, helping us to focus and remember better. A certain article in 2009 follows studies show that patients in hospital recover faster when they can see trees from their room windows, and that women residing in public housing can focus better when their apartment has a view of a grassy yard, rather than concrete. Scientists hypothesize that even such brief look of nature enhance brain performance by giving a mental break from the cognitive processing dictates of urban surroundings.
City slickers, who are continually affected by both visual and aural noise, find it more difficult to focus and tend to be in short-tempered moods and hasty behavior.
2. It helps us cope up with stress
A British report informs that mental health of children in the 21st century is vulnerable ‘cause they’re missing out on the exposure of the natural world loved by the past generations. A reporter has compiled evidence that human beings are healthier and better accustomed to if they get out in the countryside, parks or gardens. He also said that individuals deprived of contact with nature are at a more prominent risk of depression and anxiety, while stress levels decrease within a few moments of seeing green spaces. An active family nature escapade ( preferably without the distraction of electronic gadgets) can reconnect people, calm frayed nerves and help everyone relax.
3. Pollution sucks
We’re pretty much sure your breathing gets a lot better in the countryside. Everyone knows that pollution in the city is a large problem. Although some cities are less polluted, there is nothing better than escaping to natural fresh air from the rurality. There are specific metropolises which actively smell like the crowd has decided to take a concurrent leak, and if that’s not a good enough reason to escape the city, we don’t know what is.
